“Listen to me carefully. Jun Pyo will come back. Please don’t give up on that guy (rascal) like this. Trust me. Give him one more chance. You can do that, right?” –Jun Hee to Jan Di
It is difficult for Jan Di - who has returned from Macau - to get a grip on her increasingly absent-minded self. In order to escape thoughts of Jun Pyo, she purposely works even more diligently than usual. When Jan Di is sent on an errand by “Master” (her boss, Bom Choon Sik), she feels refreshed by the environment at *correction* elderly fisherman/doctor’s medical clinic.
When Jan Di meets up with Jun Hee who has come back to Korea, she releases her true feelings (that she had been suppressing) to Jun Pyo’s sister. Jun Hee, feeling both sympathetic and grateful towards Jan Di, stands up to her mother and asks that she not turn Jun Pyo into another scapegoat/pawn.
Jun Pyo returns home to attend Shin-hwa University. His mother invites Jan Di to Jun Pyo’s birthday party. After much reluctance, Jan Di goes to the party, only to be confronted with the announcement of Jun Pyo’s betrothal. In the midst of everyone’s shock (including Jun Pyo and F4’s), the girl who Jan Di met in Macau (Jae Gyeong) is dragged [onto stage]….

And lo, the angst continues:
Junpyo grabs a hand and drags who he thinks is Jandi out of the hall right after his engagement is announced. Unfortunately, he actually got Jaekyung by mistake. (Mistake. Yeah, right. Ha.) Jaekyung is adorably in love with Junpyo, while Jandi truly believes that Junpyo has forgotten her.
Due to the misunderstandings floating around, Jandi decides to make the breakup clear this time and hands the necklace back to Junpyo. Poor Junpyo is completely devastated and decides to give this thing with Jaekyung a try. In return, she tells Jandi (whom she considers a friend) the ‘happy news’. What can Jandi say? She congratulates Jaekyung, though she goes off to cry on her own later.
Jandi’s shoulder injury acts up, and she has to be hospitalized. Junpyo goes to visit her and sees Jihoo there. He realizes that he can’t forget about Jandi after all.
In another front, the kindly housekeeper (or manager Jung, the text isn’t too clear) tells Jandi that shortly after arriving at Macau, an employee who’d been with Junpyo for all his life committed suicide after being fired. This caused the complete turnaround in attitude from Junpyo, apparently.

Anyone who’s watched the Japanese version will remember these particular plot points. If this preview happens to be real… (I really hope this is largely speculation, because, hello, fresh plot pls) *faceplants dramatically*
